With the decision to establish a Public Company for water supply, sewage and other communal services, at the 3rd regular session of the Assembly of the Municipality of Stanari, on May 15, 2015, JKP “Ekosfera” d.o.o. was established. The company was founded in order to ensure the permanent performance of activities of general interest and the orderly fulfillment of the needs of the end users of the services.
The basic activities of PUK “Ekosphere” are collection, purification and supply of water, purification and disposal of waste water, collection of waste and maintenance of cleanliness of public areas.
Basic objectives of the work of PUK “Ekosphere” d.o.o. are:
- production and distribution of hygienically correct drinking water,
- water quality control in accordance with the norms prescribed by the Rulebook on the hygienic suitability of drinking water,
- maintenance and construction of the water supply network and ditches,
- collection, transport and disposal of waste,
- arrangement and maintenance of green public areas in the territory of the municipality of Stanari,
- maintenance of receivables collection for delivered services above 90%, i.e. above 95%,
- reducing water loss,
- monitoring and application of regulations,
- improvement of material, technical and human resources,
- conclusion of contracts with all users of basic servants,
- monitoring, analysis and control of company operations.
